California here we come

We currently find ourselves in Port Orford along the southern section of the coast after several lovely days of travel. As Ian mentioned in the last post we met up with 5 fabulous ladies from Port Angeles who were on their annual ladies bike trip. I had my first good dose of girl time in what feels like quite some time. We had the pleasure of camping with them for two nights in route, not only were they a laugh a minute but also hard-core, super-buff women- They logged 80 miles on their first day!!! An inspiration to us all my girlies of PA.
Fortunately for us the scenery has taken a small turn to almost boring which means we can actually get a few miles without stopping in awe. I believe tomorrow though we will be back to the same old same old of gorgeous views and rugged coast. Life is really pretty tough out here. Speaking of glorious views we took a slow day yesterday so Ian could search out the perfect wave along Cape Arago. While this never surfaced which did get to take in the majestic views along the Cape Arago Highway and visited Shore Acres State Park, a lovely arboretum overlooking the ocean.

Just thought you might want to know that Biggie is the same as ever with a large soft belly I scratched just yesterday. Cheers, Adrian

Hi Christine and Ian! Just thought you might like to know that the "super-buff-women" finished our trip and are home safe and sound on the Olympic Peninsula. I had to laugh at your description of us...
We so enjoyed meeting up with you and spending two great evenings with your company. Wish we were still pedaling south along with you. All the best!
