On thursday morning we left Christine's folks house, headed for New York, but not before, on Wednesday night, making a special trip to see Talladega Nights with Lana, Sheri and Ben. It was a very special viewing for us and we all made an effort to dress for the occasion.

Our first stop on this leg of our east coast journey was hawthorne Valley Farm in New York's Hudson Valley, where my sister Abi has worked since last year. We had the grand tour and walked away with a load of veggies to boot. Its a beautiful spot, and Abi has acquired many adoring fans there, including this little girl. She told us that she has her own cow-herding stick and has been herding cows since she was four (not Abi, the little girl)
